And the prices are muuuuuch better than the big thrift chains. The store is nicely organized and clean, with friendly staff and a cozy reading/listening area. Plus, all of the store’s profits go towards supporting women in addiction recovery, so you can feel good about your purchases. This large, well-kept thrift store is definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for some great thrifted deals in Edmonton.
And yes, they have change rooms.

The Mustard Seed Thrift Store in Edmonton is a gem that deserves more recognition for its great inventory and amazing staff. Plus the prices that are exactly what you’d expect at a true thrift store. The store is clean, bright, and a bit on the smaller side, but definitely worth checking out. Plus they have change rooms! Whether you’re looking for clothing, housewares, or toys, this thrift store is definitely worth adding to your list of best thrift stores in Edmonton. While they may be on the smaller side, they are packed with good stuff at cheaper prices than what you’d find at Value Village. All profits go back into the Bissell Centre’s programs and services that serve people experiencing poverty in Edmonton.

Finders Keepers Thrift Shop

Finders Keepers Thrift Store in Edmonton is one of the best thrift stores in the city if you’re into vintage home stuff. This place is packed with all kinds of cool, funky vintage items and decor. Super friendly staff, fair prices and clean store.
Lighthouse Thrift Boutique

They’re a non-profit, which means they use their money to help people, not just make more money. You’ll find a lot of cool stuff there, like clothes, furniture, and household things, and it’s all pretty cheap. MCC always has new things coming in and the prices are really good. Just be ready for the aisles to be a bit narrow, so it might be hard to get around.
Find Retail + Donation Centre

Find Edmonton is a great independent thrift store in Edmonton, especially if you’re looking for furniture and household goods. There’s no clothing here, but they make up for it with a wide range of gently used items for your home. The store is easy to get to, with plenty of parking and easy access. Inside, it’s fairly well maintained and arranged, making it easy to find what you’re looking for.
Tip: If you buy something big, you’ll need to arrange a way to get it home yourself as they don’t offer delivery.
Nifty Thrifty

If you’re on the hunt for one of the best thrift stores in Edmonton, Nifty Thrifty needs to be on your radar. This cute little spot has an awesome old-school vibe and feels like a true community hub. They’ve got a cool mix of clothes, housewares, canned goods, handmade items, and even free books and mags. The owner is super nice and welcoming too. It’s the perfect place to dig for secondhand gems.
Tip: Shop on Tuesdays and Thursdays for even better deals (Adult clothes for $2 on Tuesdays and $15 bag sales on Thursdays)
Blenderz Garment Recyclers

Blenderz Garment Recyclers is a must visit spot for Edmonton thrifters! Especially if you love sewing and crafting with upcycled goods. They offer cool classes like sewing for beginners and up-cycling. You can get awesome craft boxes filled with materials like denim or fleece, perfect for a crafty project. They also sell fabric, curtains, sheets, and more for super cheap. Everything is sold by weight, so if you play it right you can get a reaaaaally good deal. The location isn’t the greatest, but the store is nice inside.
Tip: They deliver mystery boxes right to your door if you’re feeling creative!
Second Chance Thrift Shop

Second Chance Thrift Shop is a large, well-organized store that raises funds for the Emmanuel Foundation and Hope Mission. 100% of the profits support their projects. The shop is open a few days a week, so definitely check their hours before heading over.
